Our New Tree

Our friends Lon and Jan gave us a blue spruce to plant in our backyard. We found the perfect spot on the side. It will be interesting to look back at this picture and see how much it grows by the time we move out.

Little Miss Crafty

Saturday morning is our time to sleep in while the kids take care of themselves in the morning. We leave cereal out to munch on till we get up and make breakfast as well as the tv ready to go.

Grace is a art project kind of girl. She loves getting creative with anything she can find. Here she is making a book to write and illustrate.

Excited about June Bug Out

These kiddos were so excited to go to the end of the year activities at school. They look forward to June Bug Out all year long. This was Jackson's last year and Grace's first with her own class.

Field Trip to Potzberg

Jackson's class went on a field trip to Potzberg Wildlife Park. The highlight of the trip for him was feeding and holding a hawk.

Father's Day Lunch in Kinder

Mrs. Cortez had a Father's Day luncheon for the dads' in the class. She always did special things for each holiday and celebration time of the year. 

Grace's invitation to Jason to the lunch:

 She made him a hat and tie to wear during the lunch.

Her letter and picture...one to save in her memory box!

 They also sang songs for the dads. 

 It was a very special time for Grace and Jason. We are so thankful for all Mrs. Cortez does with the class. 

End of the Season

 The kids had a great coach pitch and tee ball season! 

The loved every single moment of it. I am thankful for Jason coaching Jackson's team.
