A few years ago the kids great aunt, Aunt Sharon, bought Jackson a book where he writes and illustrates it all by himself on the blank pages. It came with two books, perfect for each of the kids to have one of their own. I have held onto them all this time just waiting for the perfect time to sit and to it. Today being a day off school and chilly/rainy outside we stayed in our pajamas till lunch and worked on this for almost two hours.
To make sure we did it right I had them do a rough draft first and think about how they were to illustrate it. It was fun to see each of the stories that they came up with.
Jackson LOVES his cousins, so it was fitting for him to write a story about going to their house.
He did a great job using his imagination for his book.
These books I will always treasure.
