Mrs. Cortez put on a wonderful Mother's Day tea for all the moms in the class. She had the kids make bonnets for the moms (I'm wearing mine below) and make the moms feel extra special.
The kids sang songs, drew a portrait of their mom, made a placemat, planted a flower and wrote why they love their mom. It was a very special time to spend with Grace in her class. She could not wait for this day. It was the first thing she told me when she woke up on Friday.
